I have over 20 years of experience as a personal injury attorney, trying cases and negotiating settlements when people are injured. I earned my law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1984, and was admitted to the bar in the State of Missouri that same year. I have successfully before the Missouri circuit and appeals courts, the Missouri Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

I am an active member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the St. Joseph Bar Association, the Missouri Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association. I am also very active in St. Joseph and have served as president to several community organizations.
